Title No title. But the biblical scene probably depicting the promise of Isaac.
 
Description

Drawing style and the dutch watermark suggest the drawing was made in Holland around 1700. The drawing contains very fine detail, press the left button to see the beautiful drawing in more detail.

The magnificent drawing shows probably a biblical scene: First book Moses chapter 18.  the three strangers on the right predict to Abraham the birth of his son (Isaac) to be given birth by Sarah. Sarah is shown on the left behind a tree.

Size 23,9 x 19,6 cm

The paper contains a Dutch water mark: Pro Patriae + Lion with sword in the dutch garden (Watermark from around 1700). Click on the photo and use "<" button under the photo to see additional photos

 Condition Vague remain of old fold. Overall fine condition.

Description Fine detailed sepia drawing of a dutch village with church next to a river with sailing ships dating from around 1780. There is a stork nesting on the church roof. The village on the drawing could be Soeterwoude. Print itself approx: 13,0 x 19,0 cm.
 Condition  Very good. Alittle bit of smudging on the right hand sight form previous framing.

Size:18 by 12,5cm. Please do not confuse this book with the version with the same title but much smaller  and partly different photographs. In extremely good condition. Description Unusually large album  (35 by 27cm) First page with a handpainted bird of prey on silk, the final page with a handpainted view of mount Fuji on silk and the other pages containing the postcards have have landscape/tree and flower designs on silk. The silk  on the different pages has a bit of foxing. Extremely rare booklet with practical advices to cure problems with horses. The title says that it is intended for horse lovers and traders. No copy found of this book in the NCC. Gimblet published several interesting booklets on different professions / skills. The handpainted lacquer album front showing a lady in a a riksjah and mount Fuji in the distance,  with carved ivory add-ons (faces & hands). Starts with a series of 12 fine handpainted laquer postcards from around 1900, followed by 36 very fine hand coloured postcards showing geisha's from around 1900, followed by 12 coloured postcards (mainly Tokyo and Nagasaki) from around 1900 and finally 12 gruesome postcards regarding the civil war in China in 1912. 
 Condition Condition of the postcards: unused and very fine. One landscape postcard has a corner broken off. The album itself has some foxing and some scratches outside. Spine / leaves loosening

Description Three original photos taken in 1919. The first photo shows the 7434 Spyker Schoolvliegtuig (training aircraft)  size 8,5 by 16,5cm the other two photos size 15 by 21cm show the hangar were the planes are build. Spyker was a carbuilder since 1903 (they already imported Benz cars before that year). In 1915 the compny was sold to the aviator Henri Wijnmalen During the first worldwar the sale of cars became very sluggish and therefore they also started building planes. During the first worldwar Spyker build approx 60 planes and 200 engines. After the first worldwar Spyker stopt building planes (in fact by the end of 1919) they then started again to concentrate on building top quality cars. Spyker developed 4 main types of aircraft: V1 jachtvliegtuig (double deck fighter, one build) V2 les toestel (doubledeck training plane 56 build)  V3 (Fighter double deck, one build), V4  Never build.  Original photographs of the aircraft activities and planes by Spyker are extremely rare
 Condition The photographs are very lightly yellowed, however overall still in good condition.
